Bank of America is a multinational banking and financial services corporation which offers banking, investing, and other financial and risk management services to individuals, SMBs, and large corporations. It operates through four segments: Consumer Banking, Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM), Global Banking, and Global Markets. The Consumer Banking segment offers diverse accounts, lending and mortgages, credit and debit cards, and other products. The GWIM segment provides investment management, brokerage, banking, and trust and retirement products, as well as wealth and specialty asset management services. The Global Banking segment offers lending, treasury, working capital management solutions, debt and equity, and advisory services. The Global Markets segment delivers market-making, financing, securities clearing, settlement, and custody services, as well as risk management, foreign exchange, fixed-income, and mortgage-related products.
