Wintrust, a financial holding company offering community and commercial banking, wealth management, and mortgage services, has served Chicago’s communities since 1991. Wintrust was founded on the idea of being the alternative to the big banks. We believe there is a need, and desire, for a true community banking experience where customers are known as more than just another account number and the bank is actually part of the community it serves. Wintrust has more than 155 community banking locations in the Chicagoland area, southern Wisconsin, and northwest Indiana. As a locally-based and locally-run company, we know we have a responsibility to invest in, and give back to, the neighborhoods we serve, something we take very seriously. Our banks offer more than just banking solutions; we participate in local events, volunteer for local organizations, and even offer financial education classes and activities for the community. Although our focus is on finance, our philanthropic commitment is part of our foundation.
