Webster Financial Corporation

Still expanding with 17 new Boston banking centers. In 1935, Harold Webster Smith started a bank to help his friends and neighbors build and buy homes. Guided by his values, Harold’s bank focused on doing the right thing for its customers and communities. Now known as Webster Bank, we have continued Harold’s legacy for more than 80 years. Today, we are a leading regional bank serving consumers and businesses from metro New York City to Boston where we recently opened 17 new banking centers. But while we continue to expand, we remain a values-guided, community-minded bank dedicated to living up to our customers and communities every day.
