WDB Coco (WDBココ株式会社) is a company that specializes in pharmacovigilance and clinical research support. It operates in four business segments: Safety Information Management, Document Support, Manufacturing and Sales Research Support, and Clinical Research Support. The Safety Information Management segment allows input and evaluation of safety information generated during domestic and international clinical trials in drug development and after drug sales. The Document Support Segment provides quality control (QC) of various documents generated at the stage of pharmaceutical development and documents required for the application for market approval to the PMDA. The Manufacturing and Sales Research Support segment includes the creation and management of contract documents with medical institutions requesting the surveillance, management of survey forms, data management and statistical analysis of survey forms, filing of survey-related documents, and call center operations. The Clinical Research Support segment provides a series of research-related services from supporting participating medical institutions at the start of the research, collecting and checking clinical data, monitoring the progress of the research, and statistically analyzing the collected data, creating a report of the results.
