Republic Bancorp, Inc. is a financial holding company of Republic Bank & Trust Company (the Bank) and Republic Insurance Services, Inc. (the Captive). Republic Bank provides traditional commercial banking products and services to small- and medium-sized businesses. Products and services offered include commercial and small business loans, other types of installment loans and commercial products and deposit services. Lending activity at Republic Bank is focused on real estate-secured lending to small- and medium-sized businesses. In addition, emphasis is placed on loans that are government guaranteed or insured, such as Small Business Administration loans and United States Department of Agriculture loans. Commercial loans are typically secured by the customer's assets and by personal guarantees.
