zeotap was founded in 2014 by a group of telecommunications, mobile advertising and technology experts from Vodafone, IBM and Fyber (RNTS Media). It is backed by the Iris Capital, Capnamic, HitFox Group, as well as former executives from Deutsche Telekom, Nokia, Yahoo, McKinsey, GfK and AOL. zeotap was the first German company to receive an investment via Angellist.
