As of December 31, 2011, the Company had six direct subsidiaries: Vista Alegre Atlantis SA (VAA), which is engaged in the production and sale of porcelain, crystal, oven dishes, earthenware and glass products; VA-Vista Alegre Espana SA, which is active in the distribution and retail of crystal and ceramic products in Spain; VA Grupo-Vista Alegre Participacoes SA, which is involved in the management of real estate properties; Faiancas da Capoa-Industria de Ceramica SA, which manages the factory in Aradas, Portugal, where VAA produces earthenware; Cerexport-Ceramica de Exportacao SA, which manages the factory in Esgueira, Portugal, where VAA produces oven dishes, and VA Renting Lda, which offers long term rental of plates, cutlery and utensils to the hotel industry.
