VeloMetro is building Veemo, an urban electric-assist velomobile to take a prominent role in urban mobility. Veemo fits within electric bicycle regulations in North America but provides car-like functionality. Highly efficient and sustainable, Veemo is an enclosed three wheeled pedal electric vehicle with a comfortable cabin and basic cargo space for everyday urban travel. Its big benefit is that it costs pennies to operate, and requires no drivers license or motor vehicle registration. Veemo is designed for sharing, and will be offered through a public, one-way sharing network, accessible through your smartphone for inter-neighbourhood travel in urban and community centres everywhere.
