Tronox is a global leader in the mining, production and marketing of inorganic minerals and chemicals. The Company operates two vertically integrated divisions: Titanium dioxide (TiO2) and Alkali Chemicals. The TiO2 division mines and processes titanium ore, zircon and other minerals, and manufactures TiO2 pigments that add brightness and durability to paints, plastics, paper, and other everyday products. The Alkali division mines and processes trona ore and manufactures soda ash that is used in the production of glass, detergent formulation, chemical manufacturing, pulp and paper production, and water treatment.
