The Factual (also knowns as College Top Holdings) is an algorithm that rates news articles. It offers various products to get the news: a newsletter, a website, an iOS, and Android app, a chrome extension, etc. The algorithm works without human input and each article receives a grade based on four metrics: the site quality, the author’s expertise, the quality and diversity of sources, and the tone of the writing.
