The Ensign Group

The Company, through its subsidiaries, is a provider of skilled nursing, rehabilitative care services, home health, home care, hospice care, assisted living and urgent care services. The Company operates approximately 178 facilities, of which 13 are hospice agencies, 14 are home health agencies, three are home care businesses and 17 are urgent care clinics in California, Arizona, Texas, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Nevada, Iowa, Nebraska, Oregon and Wisconsin. It operates through two segments: transitional, skilled and assisted living services, which include the operation of skilled nursing facilities, and assisted and independent living facilities, and home health and hospice services, which includes the Company's home health, home care and hospice businesses. Its wholly owned subsidiaries provide accounting, payroll, human resources, information technology, legal and other services to other operating subsidiaries.
