SVT-developed systems are currently used to measure the non-financial value of approximately $9Bn in social and environmental investments in 23+ countries.SVT Labs, our R&D division, works on making measurement more affordable and intuitive using tools like geospatial mapping and network mapping, and promotes adoption of the practice of impact management.SVT’s recent work includes systems to: calculate and coordinate the social ROI of obesity prevention efforts of one of the largest children’s healthcare providers in the US and its business and community partners; demonstrate the difference between extractive and beneficial financial products and services; measure, manage and enable the venture investor and entrepreneur to reap value from the net social and environmental impact of a west African palm oil business; and assess and report the net environmental impact of CalPERS’ $600M environmental technology private equity portfolio.
