Streamline Shipping Group is a privately owned freight shipping company with headquarters at Blaikies Quay in Aberdeen Harbour and depots around Scotland in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Orkney and Shetland, as well as in Humberside. The company was established in 1981 to offer liner services between the west coast of Norway and Aberdeen as the oil sector around the northern North Sea expanded rapidly. Today company founder Stuart Roberts remains an active Chairman and the business is very much a family affair, with sons Alex and James Roberts playing a lead role in operations and Stuart’s wife Katharine serving as a non-executive director. The Group now provides integrated shipping, haulage, distribution, storage, import / export, forwarding, stevedoring, agency and chartering services. We consider ourselves to be specialist in more complex or 'difficult' jobs and have a wealth of experience in the handling and moving of project cargoes. Our seafreight operations give access to and from Scotland's Northern Isles of Orkney and Shetland, with daily departures from Aberdeen in north east Scotland.
