Span-America utilizes polyurethane and other foam products for manufacturing the products and distributing in the medical, consumer and industrial markets. The Company’s medical products consist of polyurethane foam mattress overlays, therapeutic support surfaces, patient positioners, medical beds, tables and related in-room furnishings, as well as seating, Selan skin care and fall protection products. Span-America’s custom products segment includes consumer bedding products and engineered industrial products. The Company’s industrial product line consists of specially engineered foam products used in a variety of markets, including the automotive, packaging, durable goods, electronics and water sports equipment industries.
