Southampton Solent University is a public university. It conducts undergraduate and post graduate level courses on maritime, business, supply chain management, logistics, and maritime law as well as courses on media, marketing, sports, business, journalism, and photography. Solent University also has a dedicated research and innovation unit, providing cohesive support for research and innovation through a researcher development program and the Research, Innovation, and Knowledge Exchange Awards.
