SilverRail founders Aaron Gowell and Will Phillipson met in early 2000 as leaders of the National Leisure Group (NLG). As CEO and Product Lead, respectively, they led one of the first businesses to effectively sell cruises online, powering the likes of Orbitz through their successful IPO.
This proven experience, of consolidating a diversified cruise supply for sales through established online travel retailers, led Aaron and Will to identify the opportunity to apply a similar logic to the global rail market. They co-founded SilverRail Technologies in 2009 and continue to innovate within the rail space with products like SilverCore, a product for corporate travel agencies to seamlessly sell rail to their clients around the globe.
Since launch, SilverRail has grown into a leading travel technology provider in the distribution of rail tickets, winning numerous industry awards, integrating content from the leading rail suppliers in North America and Europe, and leveraging our expertise in partnership with the travel industry’s leading innovators. We continue our mission to bring rail global, with our sights set on Asia next.
