    Founded on the 16th August 1979, Shields is a privately owned company. Each Shields facility is certified to one or more of the following: ISO9001, TL9000, ISO14001, R2/RIOS or OHSAS18001. Copies of the EOH&S MS policy and other certifications are available upon request. During our lifetime we created the first mobile phone take back scheme in the UK and successfully floated this business on the AIM London Stock Exchange in 2005. Since 2005 we have focused on fixed and mobile telecom networks, providing solutions that enable efficiencies by: Supplying equipment at 20%-50% of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) prices with assets that are available in our inventory today Generating value from surplus assets and creating a new revenue stream for Operators Providing OEM agnostic services both in our test labs as well as on customer’s sites Developing software that drives behavior and decisions to lower OPEX and CAPEX
