Select Income REIT is a REIT that owns and invests in lands and properties that are primarily net leased to single tenants. As of September 30, 2015, we owned 118 properties (359 buildings, leasable land parcels and easements) with approximately 44.6 million rentable square feet located in 35 states, including 11 properties (229 buildings, leasable land parcels and easements) with approximately 17.8 million square feet which are primarily leasable industrial and commercial lands located in Hawaii. On January 29, 2015, we completed our acquisition of Cole Corporate Income Trust, Inc., or CCIT, for total consideration of approximately $3.0 billion, including the assumption of approximately $297.7 million of mortgage debt principal and excluding acquisition costs. Concurrently with the transaction’s close, we sold 23 healthcare related properties included in CCIT’s property portfolio for approximately $539.0 million (including the assumption of approximately $30.0 million of mortgage debt) resulting in a net purchase price to us of approximately $2.4 billion for 64 office and industrial single tenant net leased properties.
