Sanderson Farms

Sanderson Farms is one of the nation’s leading poultry corporations, with annual sales of more than $2.68 billion. Our 11,000 plus employees and more than 800 independent growers are committed to offering our customers the very best products on the market today. Although we’ve grown in size from a farm supply business to the nation’s third largest poultry producer, we’re still a family-owned company. We adhere to the same values of honesty, integrity and innovation that have been with us since our founding in 1947. We are proud that our chicken is 100% Natural, which means that it is free of things like carrageenan, broth, salt and other additives that some companies use to pump up their chicken. Our plants process over 9.375 million chickens weekly. Combined with our company-owned feed mills and hatcheries, we are positioned to keep up with the growing demand for our products. Sanderson Farms was incorporated in 1955 as a fully integrated poultry processing company that produces, processes, markets and distributes fresh and frozen chicken products. Sanderson Farms became a publicly traded stock in 1987 and is listed on NASDAQ under the symbol SAFM. Our chicken is sold through food service broad liners and retail banners across the United States and is exported to countries all over the globe. We have plants in Brazos, TX; Bryan, TX; Collins, MS; Hammond, LA; Hazlehurst, MS; Kinston, NC; Laurel, MS; McComb, MS; Moultrie, GA; Palestine, TX; and Waco, TX. We are a successful, growing organization, respected in the communities in which we live and the industries of which we are a part. Our employees are awarded with a comprehensive benefits package, competitive compensation and a meaningful and challenging job.
