Runwood Homes Summary

Company Summary

Overview
We specialise in high quality care for older people, including those living with dementia and who require general nursing. With 67 residential care homes across England and Northern Ireland and a number of Day Centres, care is at the heart of what we do and we are ready to help you find your ideal care home. Your Care in Our Hands We care for around 4000 residents in the Runwood Homes group, and our employee team is of an even larger number. The size of our team is an indication of the extent and quality of care that we are committed to and reflects our philosophy of treating all our residents with dignity and individuality. With 75%-80% of our residents living with a level of dementia, Runwood has a special Dementia Care Services Team, made up of experienced experts in dementia care, who continually monitor our homes to ensure the highest standards are maintained. Dignity for Everyone, Everyday Our innovative Dignity Campaign is Runwood’s way of making ‘person centred’ care our own. We strive to provide care which supports, promotes and does not undermine the resident’s self-respect. We believe that dignified care promotes the residents well-being, and creates an inclusive, friendly environment in all our homes.
