It operates in two business segments: Cloud and Edge and IP Optical Networks. The Cloud and Edge segment provides software and hardware products and services for VoIP communications, voice over LTE (VoLTE), and voice over 5G (VoNR) communications. The IP Optical Networks segment delivers hardware and software products for IP networking, switching, routing, and optical transport. The company was formed as a result of a merger between Sonus Networks and GENBAND.
