RE2 robotics

RE2 Robotics, located in Pittsburgh, PA, is a Carnegie Mellon spin-off. We were founded in 2001 by Jorgen Pedersen on the principles of developing innovative robotic technologies that save lives and improve quality of life. Our team designs and develops mobile robotic technologies that enable robot operators to safely and efficiently interact with their environment -- whether on the ground, in the air, or underwater. We develop robotic manipulator arm products and conduct cutting-edge research in our Lawrenceville facility. Our research efforts focus on creating interoperable manipulation systems with human-like performance, intuitive human robot interfaces, and advanced autonomy software for mobile robotics. Our team has expertise in all disciplines of robotics - from software development to electromechanical design. Our team is dedicated to solving our customers' most difficult robotics engineering problems while forging long-lasting relationships to meet their current and future technical challenges.
