PLANTeDIT is a biotech company specializing in DNA-free non-transgenic genome edited plant crops and cost bio-pharmaceuticals. It produced soya with high oliec oil content by mutating FAD2 gene which increases oliec oil in the soya bean. These oils are used in packaged baked goods (packaged cakes, cookies), as spray coating for cereal, crackers and dried fruit, and in non-dairy creamers as well as different types of frying.
