Peter Brown started as a sole trader in 1980 with a single tipper lorry and had ideas of bigger things. With his innovative idea of sub-contracting other hauliers so he could undertake larger contracts for bulk earth moving. Over time Peter invested in more lorries to service the demand for muck away in the South East of England. As a major player in the construction industry Peter evolved into a Civil Engineering company, which has been a great success involving investments in plant and machinery up to 50 tonnes. Now P J Brown Construction Ltd is the largest muck away company in Sussex with a fleet in excess of 50 (LGV) lorries. P J Brown Construction Ltd moved into Groundwork’s and have earned respect from major house builders in the industry.
