Ourotech measures drug resistance on a patient's tumor sample outside of their body so the Company can determine the best cancer treatment the first time. Ourotech has created a hydrogel that can culture tumors outside of the human body and mimic the drug resistance of tumors inside the human body. Ourotech uses IC50, the industry standard for measuring drug resistance, so they can determine the best treatment for a patient and eliminate the trial and error process.
