NTECL (also known as NTPC Tamil Nadu Energy Company) is a company that is engaged in power transmission and distribution. It operates and maintains a thermal power station (TPS). The plant supplies power to the grid for electricity generation. NTECL is a joint venture of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company Ltd (TANGEDCO). Vallur Thermal Power Station (VTPS).
