Established in 1967, Nixon Hire is a family run business, employing over 400 people across our depot network. We utilise our purchasing power to bring you a wide selection of products from leading brand names at extremely competitive prices. When it comes to new or used construction plant equipment, look no further than Nixon Hire. We have one of the largest fleets of construction equipment in the UK with thousands of machines available for sale at any time. We only purchase equipment from leading manufacturers and all of our equipment is maintained by us to the highest standards. We are distributors for many of the leading brands of construction equipment including Volvo, Bomag and Thwaites. Apart from regular pre-hire checks, all equipment is serviced regularly and checked on site under our preventative maintenance programme. All wheeled equipment also undergoes our rigid Annual Major Inspection programme each year (similar to a vehicle MOT), ensuring equipment is safe for use. You can be sure that all of our equipment has been regularly serviced and maintained, taking the risk out of buying from an unknown source. Once we deliver equipment, whether new or used, our service doesn’t stop there. We offer a comprehensive maintenance service to ensure your equipment keeps on going.
