Neuronetrix Solutions (also known as COGNISION) is a company developing neurodiagnostic devices and software designed for patients with cognitive disorders. Its device headset is put on the surface of the scalp to measure electrical activity in the brain responsible for cognitive function. The device is used to differentiate dementia from depression, detect deficits in the brain, track disease progression, demonstrate medications work, predict disease course and outcome after a concussion or TBI (traumatic brain injury).
