National Steel Car (NSC) is a company operating as a railroad freight and tank car manufacturer. It designs and produces auto racks, covered hoppers, intermodal wells, open top hoppers, centerbeams, and other types of railcars. In addition, the company provides railcar parts and components, including fulcrum brackets, brake piping, handholds and ladder rounds, body bolsters as well as trucks and wheel sets.
