MOL Group (also known as MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas and MOL Magyar Olaj- és Gázipari Nyilvánosan Működő Részvénytársaság) is an oil and gas company. It operates through five segments: Upstream, Downstream, Consumer Services, Gas Midstream, and Corporate and other. The Upstream segment consists of oil and gas exploration and production assets and related activities. The Downstream segment turns crude oil into refined products, such as gasoline, diesel, heating oil, aviation fuel, lubricants, bitumen, etc. The Consumer Services segment is a fuel retail operation that covers oil field services, asset operations, and maintenance management. The Gas Midstream segment comprises activities related to the transmission system. The Corporate and other segment encompasses all other business units of the company, including waste management.
