Maxa Holding (formerly iAxept, also known as Maxa Group, Maxa Online Contactless) is a company developing iAxept Contactless, a technology that provides customers with a possibility of contactless payments when shopping online. It acts as the online merchant’s contactless EMV POS terminal on the consumer's smartphone performing card-present transactions, thus eliminating the 'card not present' fraud and related costs such as chargeback fees.
