In 2014, MatchMove launched the MatchMove Wallet, in partnership with American Express. The MatchMove Wallet enables any major consumer brands, banks, telcos and regional e-commerce sites to easily issue secure mobile payment cards to reach millions of shoppers with smartphones. In 2015, MatchMove Pay became an issuing and acquiring member of the MasterCard network, partnering with MasterCard to launch mobile, virtual and physical payment cards across SE Asia. The MasterCard Virtual card will be rolled out in selected countries from March 2015. In addition, MatchMove launched the “IMBA GAMERCARD” for gamers. This enables younger consumers who are unable to apply for a debit/credit card to make online payments for their games and in-game items. MatchMove Pay has since been recognised internationally as a company for its outstanding innovation. Last year, we defeated a strong line-up of 14 other finalists to emerge as “Top Innovator” in global FinTech competition, SWIFT Innotribe Startup Challenge at SIBOS in Boston. MatchMove was shortlisted as a finalist in the HRM Asia Awards 2015.
