The Marcus Corporation's movie theatre division, Marcus Theatres®, is the fifth largest theatre circuit in the U.S. and currently owns or manages 675 screens at 54 locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and Ohio. The company's lodging division, Marcus® Hotels and Resorts, owns and/or manages 18 hotels, resorts and other properties in 9 states. The Marcus Corporation is included in the Standard & Poor's SmallCap 600 Index, the Russell 2000 Index and other indexes. The company is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wis. and was founded in 1935 with the purchase of a single movie theatre in Ripon, Wis.
