LMW (formerly known as Lakshmi Machine Works) is a textile machinery manufacturer. The company operates through four main divisions: Textile Machinery, Machine Tool, Foundry, and Advanced Technology Center. Its Textile Machinery business provides equipment for textile spinning; Machine Tool focuses on CNC lathes, machining centers, and turn-mill centers; Foundry serves rail transportation, traction motors, pumps and valves, machine tools, compressors, power and energy, and marine transmission applications; and the Advanced Technology Center division supplies aero engines, aerostructures and structural assemblies, sheet metal and special processes, and aerospace composites.
