With six decades of history, JBS is currently the world's largest protein producer and the world 's second largest food company. The company operates in the processing of beef, pork, sheep and chicken, also acting in the production of food of convenience and added value. In addition, it markets leather products, hygiene and cleaning, collagen, metal packaging, biodiesel, among others.
Currently, JBS has more than 200 production units in the world, with more than 230 thousand employees and capacity to process more than 80 thousand cattle, 14 million poultry, 110 thousand pigs and 100 thousand pieces of leather .
In addition, the company has a diversified portfolio of products, with dozens of brands recognized in Brazil and abroad, such as Swift, Friboi, Seara, Maturatta, Cabaña Las Lilas, Pilgrim's Pride, Gold Kist Farms, Pierce, 1855, Primo and Beehive. This variety of products and presence in 22 countries on five continents (between production platforms and offices) serve more than 300,000 customers in more than 150 countries around the world.
