hub North Scotland is the driving force behind the planning, procurement and delivery of community-based infrastructure projects across the north of Scotland.The organisation is responsible for a development pipeline totalling £400 million over the next 3 years, working with partners in the healthcare, emergency services and education sectors to ensure best value is delivered.
Established in 2011, hub North Scotland has been at the forefront of the hubco model’s implementation throughout the country. The organisation covers an expansive territory stretching from the southern tip of Aberdeenshire on the east coast to the islands of Orkney and Shetland in the north, Argyll to the south and the Western Isles.
In less than four years in operation, hub North Scotland has completed projects in the health care and emergency service sectors with an ongoing pipeline featuring a number of educational facilities.
The first DBFM (design, build, finance and maintain) programme in Scotland under the hubco model was delivered by hub North Scotland when the Aberdeen Community Health and Care Village was handed over in December 2013.
