H&R AG, formerly known as H&R Wasag AG, is a Germany-based specialty chemicals company. The Company operates through three business divisions: Chemical-Pharmaceutical Raw Materials Domestic, Chemical-Pharmaceutical Raw Materials International and Plastics Domestic and International. The Chemical-Pharmaceutical Raw Materials Domestic division is engaged in the manufacture of crude oil-based products such as plasticizers, paraffin, white oils and base oils. The Chemical-Pharmaceutical Raw Materials International division is engaged in the manufacture of plasticizers for the tire industry and wax emulsions for the building material industry. The Plastics division produces plastic parts and the moulds needed to manufacture them mainly for the automotive industry. It operates worldwide through its subsidiaries such as H&R Oelwerke Schindler GmbH in Germany, H&R ANZ Pty Ltd in Australia and H&R South Africa Sales (Pty) Limited in South Africa, among others.
