The organization provides university students with opportunities to develop leadership skills and engage in collaborative projects aimed at improving health outcomes for marginalized populations. GlobeMed emphasizes anti-oppressive practices, mutual learning, and shifting power to communities most affected by health inequities. Its network has included university-based chapters that partner with organizations in Africa, Asia, and the Americas to address complex health challenges. The organization fosters a movement for social justice in global health by supporting community-driven solutions and empowering young leaders.
