Fraunhofer HHI (also known as Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich Hertz Institute, HHI or Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute) is a research institution that creates innovations for society. It focuses on the development of mobile and optical communication networks, fiber optical sensor systems as well as the processing and coding of video signals. The institute also develops new standards for information and communication technologies.
