Fortress Investment Group LLC (NYSE: “FIG”) is a leading global investment manager with approximately $74.3 billion of assets under management as of September 30, 2015. Fortress applies its deep experience and specialized expertise across a range of investment strategies - private equity, credit, liquid markets and traditional fixed income - on behalf of over 1,600 institutional investors and private clients worldwide. Fortress was founded in 1998 as an asset-based investment management firm with a fundamental philosophy premised on its alignment of interests with the investors in its funds. Fortress raises, invests and manages private equity funds and hedge funds. Fortress intends to grow its existing businesses, while continuing to create innovative products to meet the increasing demand by sophisticated investors for superior risk-adjusted investment returns. Headquartered in New York, Fortress currently has approximately 1,200 employees and affiliates with offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, New Canaan, Philadelphia, Rome, San Francisco, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

Fortress Investment Group was acquired by SoftBank for about $3.3 billion on February 15, 2017.
