Food.Stories.Travel. grew out of our desire to combine thirteen years of experience in travel and food with our passion for learning the stories of Italian culture, traditions and local food makers while tasting and supporting their works. Travel, eat, learn, and connect with local food producers in Italy who care about the environment, support the local community and believe in sustainable practices. Our journeys are led by professional Tour Leaders who help you to explore local foods, culture, traditions, and history, while sightseeing and walking for a healthy lifestyle. We love to support local food producers in the following ways: Ordering meals in restaurants which source locally, seasonally and organically; Organizing and paying for tastings on site and visits to sustainable farms; Promoting these producers through social media; Volunteering and directly donating to food literacy organizations such as Slow Food and similar. When not traveling to Italy we love to promote Italian culture and cuisine in the USA with cooking classes and dinners using local ingredients and meeting the local farmers.
