FITCH GROUP, which is 20 % owned by Fimalac, S.A. and 80 % by Hearst Corporation, is a major financial services player, in particular, with a strong presence in the ratings market (Fitch Ratings).
Through Fimalac Développement, Fimalac holds interests in leisure activities and hotels, with a 40% interest in GROUPE LUCIEN BARRIÈRE, a leading casino operator in France and Switzerland, as well as a major player in hotels, and a 10% stake in Société Fermière du Casino Municipal de Cannes.
Fimalac has developed a new Digital division since July 2013, especially from WEBEDIA. Fimalac aims at becoming a major player on its specialized thematics on the net.
