Federal Signal is a company that supplies a suite of products and integrated solutions for municipal, governmental, industrial, and commercial customers. It operates two segments: Environmental Solutions and Safety and Security Systems. The Environmental Solutions Group manufactures street sweepers, sewer cleaners, industrial vacuum loaders, safe-digging trucks, high-performance waterblasting equipment, road-marking and line-removal equipment, dump truck bodies, trailers, etc. The Safety and Security Systems Group offers systems for community alerting, emergency vehicles, first responder interoperable communications, industrial communications, public safety, such as vehicle lightbars and sirens, industrial signaling equipment, and other equipment.
