OverviewSuggest Edit

Ensygnia is the company behind the award winning mobile interaction platform Onescan and are currently start-up in residence at BBC Labs - http://www.bbcwlabs.com/portfolio_page/ensygnia/.
Onescan is a mobile interaction platform for merchants who want consumers to use their mobile phones (our SDK in your app) to conveniently pay for goods and services, or collect or redeem loyalty rewards, safely and securely across any channel or at any point of sale. Uniquely, Onescan's APIs make it easy for brands and partners to integrate with online stores, traditional POS, mPOS, print media, TV & digital signage, email, packaging, even ‘stickers on your fridge’, turning anything in to a point of sale. Onescan is an agnostic platform and when it comes to Services and Partners, we don’t disrupt the existing eco-system, we just make it simpler to use for all.
Onescan is in essence an Identity and Security messaging platform which are handled seamlessly and invisibly by the Onescan platform enabling friction-less and effortless transactions across any channel and at all points-of-sale.
Identity is the new money and we believe things get interesting either end of a payment transaction, which is why we also focus on delivering Value Added Services such as Authentication, Registration and Login, Loyalty, KYC, anti-fraud, plus consumer insight and behaviour analytics through our Data Services.
In the payments world, Ensygnia Onescan allows customers to go from looking to buying in under 10 seconds.

Quite Right – it turned out 2020 was quite a year for QR codes

Back in February of this year, when the threat of COVID was becoming a global cause for concern, we posed the question on this site about whether 2020 would be the year of the QR code.

The QR code and the mobile wallet make for powerful friends

There’s a counter on the homepage of the GSMA’s website which tells you that today, there are some 5.1 billion unique mobile subscribers in the world. Elsewhere in its pages you can see that there are now more than one billion registered mobile money accounts – that’s one in five of the world’s …

What a response - QR codes go mainstream!

If you had said, one year ago, that an app reliant on QR code usage would get 12.4 million UK consumer downloads in just four days, you would probably have been asked how big was the prize money? The app in question is, of course, the NHS Covid-19 track and trace app.

Zero-Touch and Zero-Trust – it’s a perfect marriage

In a zero-trust environment, everyone and everything has to prove who or what it is when making a request of the network. It makes no difference whether that request is coming from outside of the network, or from someone on the inside – or at least someone appearing to be on the inside. Each req…

Cashless, contactless, in-person or remote – QR codes find their time.

This month’s Wired magazine has refreshed its opinion of the QR code from marketing gimmick to everyday essential.

Deadline for SCA compliance approaching fast for European retailers
