Ceres Imaging is an aerial spectral imagery company that helps growers optimize their water and fertilizer application. The Company's high-resolution multispectral images – captured via low-flying planes and processed using highly advanced image processing and crop modeling techniques – reveal highly accurate, real-time information of the water and nutrient status of every plant in a field.

Ceres Imaging is a data-as-a-service — growers pay per image by the acre and receive the imagery and the support needed to integrate it into their broader crop management practices. By revealing irrigation and fertilizer deficiencies and over-applications; the presence of diseases, parasites, and weeds; as well as problems of distribution uniformity, our product can be used for field accounting, issue spotting, week-to-week irrigation and fertilizer management, among other applications.

Tools of the Trade: Pressure “Bomb” for Measuring Plant Stress

Here at Ceres, we have boots on the ground helping to turn imagery into action. One of the tools of choice is known as the pressure chamber, also known as a “pressure bomb”, a great tool to measure the stress of a plant. This, in turn, can help inform decisions on when to irrigate an orchard.
