Care Visions began life in 1998 with just one residential care solution, Orca House. Situated in Dumfries and Galloway, the four bedroomed property was run by a staff team of six. Their vision - to create the perfect children’s residential resource specialising in child-centred, individual care in a homely, nurturing environment. This stable and structured home, with a a high ratio of staff to children, was to provide a healing and positive option for a child or young person that had experienced abuse or neglect.

Our reputation quickly spread, and demand for the service we provided increased. Over the years we have opened quite a number of homes all over Scotland and latterly branched out into utilising this vision of care for children by providing services for fostering in Scotland. We quickly realised that our formula for care could be expanded further and developed a home care strand to the business. Through the provision of domiciliary care we aim to enhance the quality of life of the service user by helping them retain as much as their independence as possible whether elderly, disabled or have special needs.

We now approach the care system from all aspects as we recruit and place care professionals of all levels, at home and abroad, and also provide frontline staff and teams of social workers to local authorities.
