Cardtronics provides automated consumer financial services through its network of automated teller machines and multi-function financial services kiosks. Through its network, the Company provides ATM management and ATM equipment-related services to large retail merchants, smaller retailers, and operators of facilities such as shopping malls, airports, and train stations. Cardtronics also owns and operates electronic funds transfer transaction processing platforms that provide transaction processing services to our network of ATMs, as well as to other ATMs under managed services arrangements. In addition, the Company owns and operates Allpoint Network—the surcharge-free ATM network—which helps financial institutions and prepaid card programs connect consumers with surcharge-free cash access.
