CAI International, Inc. is one of the world's leading intermodal freight container leasing and management companies. Founded in 1989 by shipping industry veterans, the company has steadily grown its business through container and rail car leasing and investment management. Our strong customer relationships and industry experience have enabled us to deliver superior customer service and maximize financial returns to our stockholders through diverse economic cycles.

CAI International offers a wide range of dry van containers, rail cars, and specialized equipment including reefers, palletwides, roll trailers, and swap bodies. We own a portion of the fleet, managing the balance on behalf of third parties which include container funds based in Asia and Europe. Our strong capitalization and diverse funding sources give us the agility to quickly meet customers' changing container needs.

We serve more than 280 customers worldwide through our global operating infrastructure. Service teams are local, enabling us to provide outstanding customer service and responsiveness. Our marketing, operations, and underwriting personnel have developed relationships with our top 20 customers that average 14 years.
