Founded in 2003 by Alain Molinié and Eric Lavigne, AwoX designs and develops connected hybrid objects for the Smart Home. In early 2013, the company launched the AwoX Striim™ product range, its own line of connected objects. Today the AwoX product offering covers three complementary aspects of the Smart Home: video, audio, and lighting. Notably, for the lighting market, AwoX invented AwoX StriimLIGHT Wi-FI™, a hybrid musical light bulb. The product received the CES Innovations 2014 Design & Engineering Award, at the CES trade fair in Las Vegas in January 2014. In just a few months in 2013, AwoX already sold some 70,000 connected objects in the AwoX Striim line. This success is the result of the company’s combined experience and expertise in connectivity technologies and the entire industrial process.
