Atlanticus is a holding company primarily focused on providing financial technology and related services. Through its subsidiaries, the Company provides an array of financial products and services to consumers. Atlanticus operates within two reportable segments: Credit and Other Investments; and Auto Finance. Within its Credit and Other Investments segment, the Company facilitates consumer finance programs offered by bank partners to originate consumer loans through multiple channels, including retail point-of-sale, direct mail solicitation, online and partnerships. Within the Auto Finance segment, its CAR subsidiary operations principally purchase and service loans secured by automobiles from or for, and also provide floorplan financing for, a pre-qualified network of independent automotive dealers and automotive finance companies in the buy-here, pay-here, used car business. The Company also provides loan servicing, including risk management and customer service outsourcing for third parties.
